It x-rayed conceptual review of entrepreneurship development, food security and sustainable economy and also, the theoretical framework of entrepreneurship development followed by an empirical review. The objective of the study was to identify barriers, drivers, and other measures to boosting entrepreneurship growth. Qualitative approach was deployed to carry out the study in order to allow for critical review of related literature as a source of secondary data in journals, textbooks, newspapers and a host of others, which allows for an in-depth reasoning and comprehension. The contemporary entrepreneurship drive is knowledge-based and hence, the study was anchored on “resource-based view (RBV)” of managerial enterprise.
